OUR REASON FOR BEING
My sister Carol, who is a doctor, has tried sneakers, clogs, and all kinds of footwear in search of comfort and durability. It’s no wonder that healthcare professionals walk between 8 and 12 km a day in the hospital. No surprise then that foot and back pain are so common.
We got to work and decided to create NIBO to make their lives easier. We want to combine the comfort of a sneaker with the practicality of a clog and the energy of color. To be barefoot-friendly, respectful of the foot, and meet the essential requirements of their work: flexible, lightweight, washable, non-slip, and designed for those who spend their day caring for others.

Our fabrics will be produced in Italy under strict sustainability standards.
At NIBO, we believe that producing less and better is the best way to care for the planet. That’s why we’re committed to limited production and, above all, to pre-orders: we’ll reward made-to-order manufacturing to avoid unnecessary stock.
We also want your shoes to last a long time, so you’ll be able to buy replacement parts when needed. This helps reduce waste and ensures we only create what will truly be used. A simple, conscious way of doing things—from the very first step.

A project that blends awareness, design, and purpose — made with honesty, closeness, and responsibility.
Núria leads the project with a global and coherent vision, ensuring that every decision preserves the essence of how it all began. Laura brings structure, communication, and sensitivity, giving NIBO its voice and connecting the people who make it possible. Ariadna oversees external communication and brand projection, sharing NIBO’s spirit with new audiences and strengthening its presence.
Together with them, Raúl, Eusebio, and Manu complete the team with creativity, technical skill, and commitment.
Raúl defines NIBO’s visual and digital identity; Eusebio turns ideas into meaningful designs; and Manu transforms those designs into real prototypes, caring for every detail with artisanal precision.
